Am I eligible to sit for the CAPM® Exam?

To be eligible to sit for the CAPM exam, you must first meet the following prerequisites:

Secondary degree, such as a high school diploma, GED (general educational development), or global equivalent
23 hours of project management education completed before the exam, which can be fulfilled by taking our CAPM certification training

How do I get CAPM certified?

Firstly, you need make sure you meet the CAPM exam eligibility requirements. For that, you will need the required 23 hours of training this course will offer you. PMI advises the coursework must be completed at the time of your examination.

Then, you need to make your exam application online at www.PMI.org and provide some basic general Information, such as your name, address, educational background and length of time that you have undertaken project management training (i. e. through our course).

PMI will verify your application and, once it is accepted, they will send you further instructions to pay the examination fee (circa $225 – $300 USD) and schedule the exam. Typically, processing times are quick, but if your application is selected for an audit, it might take a little longer.

What is the CAPM Certification cost?

Our preparation course costs €795 and gives you the learning hours required to be allowed apply for the CAPM exam.

The CAPM exam and certification are administered by the US-based certification body, which is the PMI. The examination fee is currently US$225 for PMI members and US$300 for non-members. This fee is paid directly to PMI.

How can I obtain 23 hours of formal training on PM?

You can gain 23 hours of formal training in project management by doing our exam preparation course, the CAPM Certification Training.

What is included in the course fee?

The course fee includes access to all course materials on the Student Hub, live expert-led virtual classes, recordings for a limited period of time and unlimited support from our Student Support team.

What are the delivery formats available for this course?

Online. Classes typically run over three consecutive days online from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Your instructor is a certified PMP practitioner with real-industry experience. Do not worry about missing an online class – a recording of each online class will be available for playback in the Student Hub for a limited period of time.
Classroom. Choose classes on campus for in-person learning with industry-expert lecturers. Classes run at the National College of Ireland (Dublin). Please note the scheduling of in-person classes is subject to demand.

Is the course suitable to people without former project management knowledge/experience?

The CAPM course is ideally suited for aspiring project management professionals from various industry backgrounds. As such, prior knowledge or experience in project management is not required.

Is the course applicable to any industry?

Yes, the content of this course is suitable for various industry sectors. We have students from different backgrounds – such as engineering, pharmaceuticals, design, construction, IT and many others.

Will recordings be available if I miss a class?

A recording of each online class will be available for playback in the Student Hub for a limited period of time, so you do not need to worry about missing a class.
